Welcome to Perspective Is Key (“I,” “me,” “my”). These Terms govern your use of this website and any services provided.
By accessing this website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use this website or book services.
1. Nature of Services
Perspective Is Key provides:
- Personal perspective discussions
- Conversational guidance
- General life discussion
- Relationship and personal development conversations
Services are informational and conversational in nature only.
They are not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, psychiatric services, or legal advice.
I make no representations or warranties regarding specific personal, emotional, relational, financial, or life outcomes.
2. Not Therapy / Not Medical Advice
I am not acting as:
- A licensed therapist
- A psychologist
- A psychiatrist
- A medical professional
- A lawyer
Sessions do not constitute mental health treatment.
If you are experiencing:
- Severe emotional distress
- Suicidal thoughts
- A mental health crisis
- Medical emergencies
You must seek immediate professional or emergency assistance. In Canada, call 911 or contact a licensed professional. Perspective Is Key is not a crisis service.
3. Personal Responsibility
By booking a session, you acknowledge:
- You are voluntarily participating
- You are responsible for your own decisions
- Outcomes are not guaranteed
- Advice or perspective shared is for reflection purposes only
- You assume full responsibility for your actions before, during, and after sessions
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or book services. Services are not available to minors.
5. Booking Rules
Sessions are for individual participants unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If:
- Multiple individuals attempt to attend a solo session
- A couple attempts to attend under a single booking
- A booking is made for one individual but used by more than one participant
The session may be refused or terminated without refund.
6. Payment & Refund Policy
All payments are final. No refunds will be issued once a booking is confirmed.
By completing payment, you confirm you are the authorized cardholder and agree to the Refund Policy.
7. Confidentiality
Sessions are not recorded.
I do not intentionally store or archive audio or video communications.
I do not provide written summaries, transcripts, or documentation unless explicitly agreed in advance.
Conversations remain private except where disclosure is required by law, including:
- Court order
- Legal obligation
- Credible risk of imminent harm
- Mandatory reporting requirements
Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where law requires disclosure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Ontario and Canadian law:
I shall not be liable for:
- Direct or indirect damages
- Emotional distress
- Lost income
- Personal decisions
- Business losses
- Relationship outcomes
Your use of services is at your own risk.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the session.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perspective Is Key from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from:
- Your use of services
- Your personal decisions
- Violation of these Terms
10. Website Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the website
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Upload malicious content
- Harass or threaten
Access may be terminated at my discretion.
11. Third-Party Services
This website is hosted by GoDaddy. Payment processors or scheduling platforms may have their own terms and privacy policies. I am not responsible for third-party policies.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Perspective Is Key unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any legal action must be brought exclusively in Ontario, Canada. You consent to the jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
14. Force Majeure
I shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including technical failures, power outages, illness, internet disruptions, or natural events.
15. Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Perspective Is Key and supersede all prior communications.
17. Modifications
I reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Return and Refund Policy
Effective Date: February 13th 2026
All sales are final.
I do not offer refunds under any circumstances once booking is confirmed and payment processed.
This includes:
- Change of mind
- Scheduling conflicts
- Dissatisfaction
- Personal discomfort
- Missed sessions
- Late attendance
- Technical issues on the client’s side
- Incorrect booking type
By booking, you acknowledge you are purchasing reserved time and access, not a guaranteed outcome.

If multiple individuals attend a solo session, the session may be terminated without refund.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Failure to attend without approved rescheduling results in forfeiture of payment.
Digital Nature of Services
Services are digital and time-based. Once a session slot is reserved, value has been delivered through allocation of availability.
Refunds are not provided once confirmation is issued.
Chargebacks
You agree not to initiate payment disputes without first contacting me.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in termination of access and dispute evidence submission.
By completing payment, you confirm you are the authorized cardholder.
Discretionary Exceptions
Any exception granted does not create future obligation.
